Reflexology Followed with Reiki Foot Treatment
Reflexology combined with Reiki offers the deepest sense of healing on both a physical and emotional level with each therapy enhancing the other, working in harmony to relax, clear, re-balance and restore.
Reflexology with Reiki is a 80 minute treatment which starts with a full Clinical Reflexology treatment followed with a 20 minute Reiki foot treatment. Crystals can also be placed on and around the body for a deeper healing experience.
Each treatment is tailored to suit each individuals, specific conditions or symptoms.
Reiki is a "spiritually guided life force energy" that treats the whole person body, emotions, mind and spirit. It was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 1900's. The word “Reiki” pronounced "ray-key" comes from the Japanese words “Rei” which means universal or divine and “ki” which means spirit, energy or life force and represents the universal spirit coming together within you.
Your first treatment will start with a short health consultation to discuss your medical history and anything that may be causing you stress or concern. You then relax on my heated therapy couch with your shoes removed and a blanket over your body to keep you warm.
I will apply hot flannels to your feet before applying cream which allows me to work over the reflex points of your feet with ease. I use my thumbs, fingers or knuckles to apply pressure to your feet and if required your lower leg.
I work through my sequence covering all organs and systems of your body and I may revisit certain areas to help balance specific reflexes, depending on what you have told me in the consultation and what I find during your treatment.
Whilst some areas may prove sensitive, the treatment itself is very relaxing and most clients take a nap or sleep deeply throughout their treatment. The treatment will end with a Reiki foot healing treatment.
Reiki is extremely effective in helping cancer patients manage anxiety and fear and can be used alongside conventional medicine in cancer support and palliative care to help with the physical and emotional effects of the condition.
